Celebration Sunday

Griffin Center Point loves to celebrate with anyone desiring to take the step in water baptism, membership, and child dedication. The next opportunity to “step” will be on April 22nd in the worship service. If you desire to follow Jesus in water baptism, become a part of the fellowship and ministry of Griffin Center Point Church, or dedicate your child to Him, please complete the information cards for each at Connection Point on campus or contact the Administration office.

One of the great opportunities we have as believers is to partake in the act of water baptism as further identification with Christ. We celebrate the forgiveness of sins by the love of God, faith in Christ, and His grace. We follow the example of Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection in our public confession of His forgiveness of our sins and water baptism.

What you will need to bring to be prepared for the Baptism service:

  • Please wear dark clothing during your baptism.
  • Bring a change of dry clothes (including undergarments) to change into after the baptism service.

Membership is simply about getting you more acquainted with the community of Griffin Center Point Church detailing who we are, what we do, who you are in Christ, and what you can do for Him with us. Once you attend two classes covering all of this on April 11th and 18th led by Pastor Gary, you are officially announced as part of the GCPC family in the following Sunday morning worship service.

Partnering with God in raising children – leading them to Him

Griffin Center Point Church believes that children are a gift from God. It is our desire to support you in this step of child dedication.

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your family, and the Church. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
